Hi jane just looking at your profile I see you've been both dancer and Model, where was all this?

Well I was born a cockney almost within the sounds of Bow Bells in a place call Ackney, often nowadays pronounced Hackney. With a great east end upbringing and the area rapidly changing we moved out of London to the suburbs of Hertfordshire, where people were oh so posh and me a now a young lady of East End decent needing to find a job.
Not being a lover of school I was more street wise than university educated but did aspire to becoming a world famous model.

Ah so on leaving school you went onto college for art and modelling lessons?

Well not quite I had some friends of friends that reckoned they could get me a fantastic portfolio done and if they then showed that around work would start flooding in. So off I went to have some photos done at some dingy backstreet place in the West End. Certainly no money had been waste on posh reception areas or general nice decor, in fact one might of suspected the place was an unused cellar with some studio lights dotted around a background hanging off a couple of nail on one wall and a couple of rugs scattered around the floor.
What possessed me to stay I don't know, and through out the 2 or so hour shoot the photographer never stopped making suggestive comments but never pushed too hard so was manageable.

Well did the shoot do you any good?

About a week or ten days later I was phoned up by the photographer who said one of his colleagues an agent who represented several models wanted to meet me and look over my portfolio at some place in St Johns Wood, I suggested picking up the photos from him before going then. To that he answered no need your photos have gone on in front of you, they've seen them now want to meet you. So excitedly off I go. Well within minutes of arrival and meeting this Guy call Pete he said the photos were great, but I was not tall enough for fashion work other than maybe a bit of catalogue work and as I'd nothing topless or naked he was not sure he could help. But if you wanted to try something a little more Risqué here now he's sure he would be able to sort out some lads mags and maybe a video or two.

I made out that I was not sure so asked could I think it over and get back to him tomorrow, quickly picking up my portfolio which I'd never paid for and all in a nice leather case I left and went on my way.
